Cornerstone Bank is pleased to announce that Laila Mhirig has been appointed the new AVP, Business Development Sales Manager of its Holden Branch located at 1073 Main Street.
Ms. Mhirig has been in the banking industry for over 20 years focusing her attention on customer service, business relationship management, and commercial lending. She previously worked at Commerce Bank, a Division of Berkshire Bank, most recently serving as Assistant Vice President Branch Officer.
Ms. Mhirig is active in the local community, serving on the board of Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester and also volunteers for several non-profit organizations, including Women’s Initiative, Dress for Success Worcester, and United Way. The mother of two young daughters, Laila is motivated to empower other girls in the community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a love for traveling and cooking.
